Iceland's Journal is an English-language game created by Quasi-Harkness with RPG Maker VX Ace.

Game Plot/Game SummaryEdit

A mysterious, blank book appears in Iceland's bedroom one morning, with instructions to write a story within it. He does, and it ends up actually happening in real life, though he doesn't think much of it. He goes on to write more short stories and doesn't notice them coming true one by one. The stories slowly get increasingly bigger, wilder and darker-- that is, until he can finally realise that he is the reason behind all these strange coincidences. It's only a matter of when he can figure it out before someone gets hurt... permanently.

CharactersEdit

Iceland/The Author - Titular main character. He discovers a mysterious red notebook in his room, which prompts him to 'tell [it] a story'. He does so against his better judgement, unbeknownst of the book's power...

Norway - Main character of the first 'story':
He discovers a coffee shortage in the Nordic household; the rest is history.
Finland - Main character of the second 'story':
He and Sweden's pet dog Hanatamago goes missing, prompting him to ask the other Nordics for help looking for her.
Denmark - Another main character of the second 'story':
After Finland asks him about Hanatamago, he personally offers to search the house for the missing canine.
Sweden - Main character of the third 'story':
After visiting his workshop in the basement to find all his furniture-building materials missing, he searches the Nordic household to recover them.

Bug Reports/ ErrorsEdit

Trivia/ Extra FactsEdit

  • If you check Iceland's equipment, he has a seemingly nameless item equipped as his 'headgear'. Its description states, "Surprised? Well, what did you expect?" which is actually a catchphrase Iceland has used multiple times in the manga and his character songs.
  • The barrel in Sweden's basement workshop, as well as the note stuck on it, is a reference to the popular Swedish YouTuber, PewDiePie.
  • Norway's password for the door to his magic room is actually his birthday (17th May).
